Ministry Description:
Sacristans prepare the church for the celebration of Mass, which includes preparation of the chalice and Hosts, preparing the cups with the correct amount of wine for each Mass, putting out the cloths for the priests and ministers, and other various duties as needed. Training and written instructions will be provided. Sacristans are selected by the Pastor, and must be trained as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion before being selected.
