Faith Formation

"Parents have the first responsability for the education of their children. They bear the responsability first by creating a home where tenderness, forgivness, respect, fidelity, and disinterested service are the rule. The home is well-suited for education in the virtues. This requires an apprenticeship in self-denial, sound judgement, and self-mastery- the preconditions of all true freedom."
CCC 2223
"He who loves his son will not spare the rod... He who disciplines his son will profit by him."
Proverbs 13:24
"Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord."
Ephesians 6:4
Welcome to Faith Formation at St. Mary’s!
At St. Mary’s Catholic Church, we believe that formation in the faith is a lifelong journey. From our youngest preschoolers to our most seasoned adults, we are all called to grow in knowledge and love of Christ so that we may become faithful and effective disciples, joyfully proclaiming His Gospel.
We offer comprehensive faith formation for all ages—children, youth, and adults—faithfully grounded in the Catechism of the Catholic Church and in full communion with the Magisterium of the Church.
