Updates on Reopening Plan May 1, 2021
MASKS: The wearing of masks continues to be mandatory.
SANITIZING: Everyone entering the Worship Space (inside or outside) is asked to use hand sanitizer.
TEMPERATURES: We are no longer taking temperatures, however, we ask that you stay home if you are not feeling well.
COUNTING: Although there are no longer restrictions regarding the number allowed in a space, we will continue to take a physical count of those entering the Worship Spaces. This will allow us to make decisions regarding your needs.
SEATING: INDOORS—Families of 3 or more are asked to sit on the right (west) side of aisle, leaving every other pew vacant for distancing. People entering as single or couples are asked to sit on the left (east) side of aisle, following the signs for distancing. The Cry Room will remain closed until further notice. OUTDOORS—Please move chairs as needed for distancing. Groups/Families may sit together.
CHOIRS / SINGING: Small choirs are allowed, but must maintain proper distancing at all times. The indoor congregation is not encouraged to sing.
MISSALETTES / SONG BOOKS: We are still not allowed to provide shared books in the pews. Missalettes will continue to be available for purchase.
ENTRANCE PROCESSION: The Entrance Procession will be added back into the Order of the Mass.
OFFERTORY COLLECTION: Ushers will continue to collect your offertory gifts with long-handled baskets.
SIGN OF PEACE: Please continue to offer each other the Sign of Peace with head nods, waves, etc. No touching at this time.
HOLY COMMUNION: The reception of the Eucharist will return to its traditional place in the Mass, i.e. after the Priest’s communion. You are asked to distance yourself from the parishioner in front of you as you approach the priest/minister. Communion will continue to be distributed in the hand only. The Precious Blood continues to be prohibited.
SANITIZING OF THE WORSHIP SPACES: Our indoor and outdoor worship spaces are being “fogged” weekly with a special product that kills all germs on contact for 10 days. This provides us with more peace of mind and saves the pews from the constant use of cleaning products.
COMING SOON: ALTAR SERVERS are being invited to return to ministry. There will be a training session in June to familiarize them with current procedures. (Adults are welcome to serve in this ministry as well as children.)

MASSES IN ENGLISH: Saturday 5 p.m. (Inside); Sunday 8 a.m. (Inside); Sunday 10 a.m. (Outdoors)
MASSES IN SPANISH: Saturday 6:30 p.m. (Inside); Sunday 11:30 a.m. & 1 p.m. (Outdoors)
CONFESSIONS: Every Saturday at 8 a.m. in the Outdoor Worship Space.
OFFICE HOURS:: Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
GET VACCINATED: Bishop McElroy has issued a statement urging all of us to get fully vaccinated. The more that are vaccinated, the sooner we will be able to return to something resembling “normal”.

NEWSLETTER: When we became restricted because of COVID, we turned our communication efforts to a twice-weekly newsletter and our parish website. The newsletter shares updates, Diocesan communications, and parish news and events. It is received in your email account. Mayo 1, 2021: Información Actualizada Para el Plan (Reabrir las Párroquias)
CUBRE BOCAS: El uso de cubre bocas continúa siendo mandatorio
SANITIZACION: Cualquier persona que entre a la Iglesia (adentro o afuera) se le pedirá que use el desinfectante de manos
TEMPERATURAS Ya no estaremos tomando la temperatura pero si no se siente bien por favor quedese en casa.
CONTEO: Aunque ya no hay restricciones en el limite de personas que pueden asistir a la Iglesia, (adentro o afuera) continuaremos haciendo el conteo de personas que asisten a Misa. Esto nos ayudará a planear y tomar decisiones en el futuro.
ASIENTOS: ANDENTRO—Familias de 3 o más se les pedirá que se sienten al lado (oeste) de la iglesia, dejando una banca entre medio de otra vacia. Una persona o una pareja puede sentarse al lado (este) de la iglesia, siguiendo los rotulos de distanciamiento. El cuarto para las familias con niños pequeños permanecerá cerrado por ahora. AFUERA—Por favor muevan las sillas como sea necesario tomando en cuenta el distanciamiento social. Las familias pueden seguir sentandose juntas.
COROS / CANTAR: Solo se permitirá un maximo de 3 personas por coro, tomando en cuanta el distanciamientos social si no son de la misma familia. Si la Misa es adentro de la iglesia no animaremos a la congregación a que cante.
MISALES / LIBROS DE CANTO: Todavia no se permiten pasar los misales o libros de canto para la Misa. Aún temenos misales que pueden adquirir para su uso personal.
PROCESION DE ENTRADA: Regresaremos a la procesion de entrada original.
COLECTA DEL OFERTORIO Los ujieres seguiran usando las canastas para colectar su ofrenda.
SEAL DE PAZ: Continuaremos dando nos el saludo de paz entre feligreses sin usar el contacto físico.
SANTA COMUNION La distribución de la Santa Eucaristía regresará a su tiempo original durante la Misa (despúes de que el Sacerdote y el Ministro tomen la Comunion). Se les pedirá que mantengan el distanciamiento entre otros feligreses cuando esten en linea para recibir la Comunion. Podran recibir la Comunion solo en la mano. No habrá la distribución de la Preciosa Sangre.
SANITIZAR LA IGLESIA : Los espacios donde celebramos nuestra Santa Misa (adentro y afuera) estan siendo sanitizados por un proceso muy eficiente que desinfecta el lugar por 10 dias.
PROXIMAMENTE: MONAGUILLOS Muy pronto invitaremos a los monaguillos a que vuelvan a participar en este ministerio parroquial. Tenemos planes para tener un entrenamiento para el mes de Junio. (Los adultos tambíen estan invitados a servir como monaguillos)
