We invite you to join us in the Star of the Sea Center (515 Pier View Way) on the 2nd & 4th Thursdays of each month from 8:30am-10am for a relaxing social time, coffee and treats, fellowship and support, and the sharing of resources. Your children will be safe, close by, and having fun while you spend time with other moms just like you. We will have brief presentations on topics that meet our moms’ interests such as child safety, the importance of play, baby care, and developmental milestones. Moms will then “meet up” and have the opportunity to enjoy all that Thursdays have to offer in downtown Oceanside, including the Farmers’ Market, Oceanside Library Story Time, and beach stroller walks.
WORLD WIDE MARRIAGE ENCOUNTER: Worldwide Marriage Encounter is a positive and personal experience for a couple, which offers them a technique of loving communication that they can use for the rest of their lives. It’s an opportunity to look deeply into their relationship with each other and with God. It’s a time to share their feelings, their hopes, fears, frustrations, and joys.Worldwide Marriage Encounter is not a professional counseling service. It is not a retreat, nor is it a marriage clinic or sensitivity course. It is not a time to look at the past, but rather to look to your future together. The weekend is a positive, simple, common sense experience between a husband and wife that revitalizes marriage. Learn more about WWME here!
RETROUVAILLE: No matter how much your marriage is hurting, no marriage is beyond hope. If life has taken your marriage on a different path, find your way back to love through retrouvaille. View upcoming retreat dates or learn more about the retrouvaille programs available to help you.
SENIOR BREAKFAST CLUB: Each first Friday of the month, at 9:00am, those of us who have reached maturity in body and spirit will meet in the Parish Center for a complimentary light breakfast and lots of good company. Of course, all are welcome to begin the day by attending First Friday Mass at 8:00am and then stay for the Rosary and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Or, if you would like to just join us in the Parish Center at 9:00am for the breakfast, that would be just fine too. We promise that the coffee will be hot and the background music "cool", so see you there!
