Oceanside Cultural Arts Foundation will be holding its 25th Annual Oceanside Days of Art. This juried visual and performing fine arts festival will be held from 10-5 on Saturday & Sunday April 22/23.
This FREE event will be held in Downtown Oceanside. Visitors may view and purchase paintings, sculptures, blown glass, and a large chalk art piece which will be created over the weekend. Youth art includes the High School Art Show, and Poster Contest display which includes a number of pieces from St. Mary’s School. Youngsters can create their own art pieces at several booths.
Visitors may take in the many and varied performances including Grupo Tequila Ballet Folklorico, Oceanside High School’s Concert Choir and their Jazz Band, steel drum ensemble, ballet and jazz dancers, and Middle Eastern dancers.
Plan enough time in your day to enjoy lunch or snacks from one of the food vendors, including the delicious Strawberry Shortcake served in our Parish Center by St. Mary’s Altar Society. Come down early for Mass, or stay afterward, and stroll the area, enjoy the arts.
